Description
The Central Bank of Jordan, in collaboration with the Arab Monetary Fund, is set to host the Jordan FinTech Festival on September 24–25, 2025, at the Four Seasons Hotel in Amman, the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan. The festival is expected to bring together central banks, international organizations, and key players from the financial sector across the Arab world to explore cutting-edge trends and innovations shaping the future of financial technology.
As a premier regional event, the festival aims to strengthen partnerships among financial institutions, regulatory bodies, and fintech startups. Its program will cover a wide array of themes, including digital payments, open financial services, cybersecurity, and digital transformation in the financial and banking sector. Discussions will also highlight virtual assets and asset tokenization, two rapidly growing areas redefining the global financial landscape, positioning Jordan as a pivotal hub for fintech advancement in the Middle East.
In addition to the main festival, several key side events will take place at the same venue. On September 23, 2025, the Arab Monetary Fund will convene the 14th meeting of the FinTech Group, gathering top policymakers and experts to align strategies for fintech development and regulation across Arab economies. Furthermore, an applied workshop titled “Cryptoassets: Regulatory and Supervisory Frameworks” will be held on September 22, offering hands-on guidance for regulators and professionals navigating the evolving digital asset environment.
The Jordan FinTech Festival is anticipated to solidify Amman’s reputation as a leading fintech destination in the region. By fostering innovation and facilitating dialogue among startups, financial institutions, and regulatory authorities, the event will contribute to enhancing financial inclusion and resilience in Arab markets. Stakeholders attending the festival are poised to influence the next chapter of digital finance and economic transformation in the Arab world.
